What is Dragon Tiger
Dragon Tiger is a card game popular across Asia, and it has been a favourite among players in Myanmar for a long time. The rules are so straightforward that anyone can jump in right away, whether you have played hundreds of times or are just starting out.
One or more decks are used, and one card is dealt face-up to the Dragon side and one to the Tiger side. The side with the higher card wins. If both cards are equal in value, the result is called a Tie, which you can also bet on in advance.
As with Baccarat, players do not handle cards themselves — you simply predict which side will win. That is why Dragon Tiger is popular both among live casino regulars and among players trying a casino game for the first time.
Types of Bets You Can Place
Dragon Tiger offers a variety of bets to choose from. The table below covers the basic bet types every player should know.
| Bet Type | Odds | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Dragon | 1:1 | Win if the Dragon side card is higher |
| Tiger | 1:1 | Win if the Tiger side card is higher |
| Tie | 8:1 | Win if both cards are equal in value (strong odds) |
| Suited Tie | 50:1 | Win if both cards match in value and suit (rare outcome) |
| Big / Small | 1:1 | Predict Big or Small based on whether the card value is above or below 8 |
* Standard Dragon Tiger rules generally state that if a Tie occurs, half of Dragon or Tiger bets are returned — but rules can vary across live casino tables at 8g77, so please read the game rules before you play.

Things you should know when playing Dragon Tiger
Focus only on Dragon/Tiger
The Tie bet looks attractive, but because it happens rarely, most players place their bets only on Dragon or Tiger.
Decide your bet amount before each round
When you are on a losing streak, sticking to your planned bet amount instead of increasing it quickly can help you in the long run.
Review the results of completed rounds
Most Live Dragon Tiger games display the result history of past rounds. This does not mean you can predict the next round with certainty — it is simply there for reference.
Limit your playing time
Dragon Tiger rounds move fast, so losses can add up quickly. Stopping once you have used up your pre-decided budget is the smart move.
Play under SSL protection
8g77 uses SSL encryption and a Fair Play system. Players can be confident that their personal information and funds are secure.
